After much deliberation and switching of webspace provider, the HeathenStorm blog is now ready for the public!
This blog is mainly for documenting the various web services, mashups and pretty forum graphics that I've been working on. It will inevitably stretch to include random rants and procrastination on any number of topics.
The initial project releases will be simple things; forum signatures and badges based on data extracted from other web services and online games. These are test applications of a web service framework which I've been toying with over the years. For what ultimate purpose? I don't know, but the journey to find out will be a lot of fun!
Standard disclaimers apply to everything. These services are betas, and five-9 access is neither guaranteed or implied. These are personal developments, made on a personal timescale, so plan accordingly.
This blog is hosted on the latest build of
BlogEngine.NET. I don't normally like using third party code (a failing of mine in the past), but this seems to do the job nicely. If there are any issues, let me know!
For those who know me from the 'before times', this may come as an unexpected surprise. There'll be a lot of tech stuff in this blog, but hopefully it'll balance out with that which you already know. Although I confess I've been guilty in the past of babbling about RSS and Javascript in the most inappropriate of places! The various strands of my life have previously been kept separate - I hope to weave them together in the process.
